This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we, Mirovia Security Team members (“us”, “our”, “we”) use any personal information we collect about you when using our services. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the terms of use and both documents should be read together.

By installing the Mirovia Security Safe Browsing you approve to have read the privacy policy, agreed to it, and that you will comply with the privacy policy and terms of use.



Mirovia Security Safe Browsing (the “Extension”) is a state-of-the-art safe browsing solution.  Our uniqueness is our ability to recognize zero-hour attacks using artificial intelligence capabilities, without using legacy block lists.

In order to provide you with the best possible security in real-time, we analyze various browsing attributes that may indicate malicious behavior. We only collect information that is relevant to determining whether a website is malicious or not and use this information only for cybersecurity purposes. We will never sell or share your personal data with any third party (including advertisers) and will never abuse your privacy.

Our business model lies on a monthly subscription, and your privacy is not a commodity to monetize.

Data collection


What information do we collect?

We collect information that is needed to provide you with our services. That includes personal information needed to manage and support each and every account and browsing information needed to recognize malicious behavior in websites. The various data is listed below.

Personal information

when you install the Extension, you may provide us with the following information:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Additional contact info (phone, additional email addresses)
  • Company name

Your name and email address may also be shared with us when you install the Extension using identity management providers.


Browsing information

When you install the Extension, and throughout your usage of it, we will monitor your entire browsing activity, and we may collect the following information:

  • Browsing history (processed and stored on your device only)
  • For each website you visit:
    • URL
    • Source code
    • SSL certificate
    • Images
    • Website resources such as Javascript and CSS files
  • User-initiated actions such as website reports, complaints, and requests.


How do we use the information?

The personal data you provide us is used solely for the purposes of managing your account and personalizing the services provided to you. Your personal data will never be shared without your consent and will never be used or abused for ad-targeting or other monetization purposes.

Your browsing data is used to provide you with real-time secure browsing. Our machine learning algorithms use your anonymized browsing data to set the security verdict (malicious / suspicious / benign) of websites and recognize anomalous behavior.

We will store session data in our servers only in the following cases:

  1. Malicious or potentially malicious websites / events
  2. User reported websites
  3. Anonymous, randomly selected data will be occasionally collected for performance monitoring

Whenever session data will be stored in our servers, minimal browsing attributes will be stored to ensure full user privacy. The stored data will not be linked to your account unless you gave your consent to it.


Data sharing policy

We do not share your Personal Information or Non-Personal Information with third parties, except as follows:

  • Legal Requirement: Solely to the extent required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or the request of a governmental agency or authority.
  • Policy Enforcement: To the extent reasonably necessary to enforce our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, including investigations of potential violations thereof, or to take action regarding any actual or suspected illegal activities or security violations.
  • Protect Rights and Defense of Legal Claims: To the extent reasonably necessary to exercise our rights, to defend against legal claims or actions against us.
  • When you agree/ask us to share information with third parties.
  • Reporting malicious websites for takedown and mitigation purposes using anonymized data.


Data Security

We take appropriate security measures for data security purposes. Such as the use of SSL encrypted communication and standard data storage security.

However, no system is completely secure and we cannot warrant you with complete immunity to breaches or security flaws. In addition, providing a cyber-security product doesn’t mean that we will prevent every possible cyber-attack on your device or data. Hence, we will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to you due to exposure of your information by unauthorized access that is not controlled by us.
